Founded in the 1950s as a small artisan workshop in Reggio Calabria, Buonafede S.r.l. is today a highly specialised company in steel and light alloys. It has also specialised for years in the design and construction of metal structures for civil and industrial uses. In 1999 it became a limited liability company. This historical path, made up of continuous growth and adaptability, has led the company to evolve from a local reality to a national operator, without ever losing its ties with its territory of origin.

Buonafede S.r.l. mainly designs and manufactures customised metalwork for a wide range of applications. Its works range from civil and industrial construction to special infrastructures and cultural heritage. Today, Buonafede is a highly specialised company in special machining processes and balance carpentry. Thanks to which it is also very present in the defence sector and in the railway sector for which it produces a wide range of sub-assemblies for the assembly of train carriages.
The pedestrian footbridge built by Buonafede S.r.l. in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento is an emblematic example of the company's ability to combine functionality, innovation and respect for the historical-artistic context. This Corten steel work, conceived to integrate with minimal invasiveness into the archaeological area, was awarded for its design value.
